Beautiful views of the lighthouse and sea for a relaxing visit!

Nice view of the lighthouse across the bay and views of the sea. Apartment was a good size for a famiy of three or four. Location was nice for relaxing, but close enough that one could walk to some stores and restaurants nearby, although during this season, many were closed.

Need knife sharpener in the kitchen. A drip coffee maker would be nice.

Everything was great, the view was absolutely incredible, it was super clean, we had everything we needed, the staff were really helpful. We had a wonderful stay here. We would definitely return

A Nice September Holiday

The views and location are superb. You cannot fault it. Just for those, our stay was worth it. There are no parking facilities but in September we had no problem at all with that. In the apartment you have all the basic amenities you need. The pool area was clean, tidy and not busy. The staff was polite and helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will recommend Orange Colom Apartments.

We had a small problem at our arrival: when we booked the One-Bedroom Apartment Deluxe with Sea View, the online pictures are from apartment 305, but we were given the 302 with views to the pool on the left and the neighbour's balconies to the right. As they explained later, both apartments belong to the same Category (*apt with terrace) and they only advertised pictures of one apartment for each category. We politely requested a swap if it was not much of an inconvenience, and after two days they made it happen. I know we were extremely lucky. I'd like to say that apartment 302 was great, it is actually bigger than 305 and also had some beautiful views (find pictures attached), but it did not have the privacy and 180º Sea Views we were expecting when we made the booking.

Great hotel for family stay.

Good location. Decent size pool, kids loved it as they were able to stand on one side. Rooms were spotless clean. Short walk to the harbour and restaurants. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

The kitchen in the apartment could’ve done with some basics, eg salt, pepper, olive oil etc as you always have to buy full size in supermarket and that’s quite a waste.

Wonderful stay with amazing view

It was really wonderful stay i Portocolom. The view from the hotel and from the swimming pool is just amazing. Walking distance almost everywhere, ca 15 min to the supermarket, 5 min to the smaller shop with great pastries, and the beach. We were at the beginning of September and it was quite calm both in the hotel (sometimes we had a swimming pool just for us :-) and in the town. Good spot to visit other places around if you have a car. The room was clean (it was cleaned twice during our stay) and spacious, really comfortable beds! AC works as it should. The pentry was enough for us, although we did not prepared bigger meals. The hotel offers even a yoga or tai chi classes. Martina in the reception was really nice and helpful and even though we arrived late picking up the key went really smoothly. We will be back :-D

Top notch location

Incredible sea views. The place was in a perfect location. Facilities were great. Friendly staff.

The air conditioning did not work. No service room during our stay. We stayed in May and we were really hot during the night. We read some reviews from previous guest having the same issue, they should try to fix this issue for future guest.

I liked: - the staff, they were super friendly and helpful. Good communication! - the room was good with space and nice view from living room. - quiet place - location because it was easy to walk around for going to beach/restaurant/buy things . - kitchen is super convenient - facilities

I would say : - Curtains are not blackout (if you need darkness to sleep well) - 2 beds for making 1 bed was not .... so efficient let's say. - hotel restaurant was not really what we could expect (but it's a matter of taste)

Calm retreat

Sea view is magnificent, apartment is spacious and has everything as stated. Do not expect full-size kitchen, but there is enough for 2-3d stay. Good location outside of noisy area, but still close to the harbor, beaches, restaurants.

A/C is rather noisy. Sea view is a bit spoiled by no-style fence, covered with rust. Low stone one would be better IMO.

View is amazing, needs a renovation

-view from the room was amazing, besides the view I wouldn’t give more than 5/10 -nice preparation of a room at first entry also for a small baby

The place need a renewal really bad! It has a huge potential, however there were a lot of a small points like: really low pressure in a shower, a jammed drawer in the bathroom, no kettle in a room, really hard to open a balcony (my wife couldn’t) I had to ask a cleaners to clean my room after a 4days… that is the worst, room should be cleaned every 2days MAXIMUM, not that I had to ask to clean it…. Air-conditioning didnt work, hopefully the temperature was quite ok for us as it was beginning of a October.

Still nice, but falling into disrepair.

Fantastic location. Lovely view from the seaview apartments. Plenty of sunloungers and sun beds by the large pool. Friendly staff. Breakfast selection is not big, but good quality.

The hotel is a victim of covid when it closed down. When reopening the new owners have left the torn-out restaurant area abandoned and serves breakfast from a food truck. The whole place is looking very worn and unloved compared to 2019. The pool area is scruffy and the apartments are starting to look very tired and worn with furniture and fittings starting to break. It is still a great location but without any proper investment it will soon fall into complete disrepair.

Good

Excellent location with a great view from our apartment over the sea. Swimming pool area and sunloungers were great and didn't seem too busy at any point. Apartment was comfortable and clean, although the cooking facilities are basic (single ring and microwave). There are plenty of restaurants nearby though, and a small cafe round the corner if you want a quick snack. Air conditioning and wifi both worked well. Beautiful sunrise over the sea.

Some of the furniture was tired and needs updating and the shower tray was cracked - a new one was on order.
